About us
The idea of The Happy Caravanner came after our first season of touring when our (then young) son kept getting lost amongst the sea of seemingly identical white caravans. I decided to make a hitch cover out of some patterned oilcloth to help our ‘van stand out from the rest; the ideas have continued from there. Wanting to personalise our ‘van to our own taste and style and make some attempt to organise the ever-growing mountain of stuff we seemed to take with us was the start of our business journey. What began with a coated-cotton caravan-hitch cover and some decorative bunting has developed into a range of soft furnishings, gifts and bespoke products.
